Nurturing and Nourishing our Faith
Our study of the Bible is an opportunity to read and ask questions about Scripture, tradition, faith and what each means in the world today. Nonchurch members are welcome.
Ladie’s In-Chapel Bible Study
Time: Mondays from October – May, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
Where: Mariner Sands Chapel
Our Bible study is to help you think Biblically in your everyday life. Come be a part of our friendly group of ladies, that includes Catholics and Protestants. We also welcome all those with no church affiliation.
Thoughtful questions, combined with guided discussion and a ten-minute teaching talk will add depth and meaning to your week. The study is guided by Karen Carr, a Seminary trained teacher. Our class goes through different Bible books each year. All books can be purchased on Amazon and are part of the Engaging God’s Word Series by Community Bible Study.
For more information, contact Karen Carr at: kjocarr@gmail.com.
Ladie’s Zoom Bible Study
Time: Every Monday from 9:00 – 10:00 EST
Where: Anywhere you have an Internet connection
Thankful for technology, this Ladies Bible Class meets via ZOOM every Monday morning year around. This allows participants who go elsewhere during the summer months to stay connected and to continue studying no matter where we may be.
We welcome you to join with the Bible Bunch (Catholics, Protestants, no church affiliate) in a relaxed atmosphere of prayer, study, sharing and fellowship.
For more information, contact Tanya Condello at: tvjjuk@yahoo.co.uk.
Men’s Bible Study
Time: Tuesdays from October – May, 8:30 a.m.
Where: Mariner Sands Chapel Conference Room
Men’s Bible Study looks in depth at Bible passages and encourages lively discussion by attendees. D’Arcy LeClair facilitates this study and Pastor Gary Carr attends each Tuesday, as well.
