Our Mission

To Know Christ and to Make Him Known

Mariner Sands is one of the few residential clubs in Florida to feature an ecumenical community church on campus. With dynamic Protestant and Catholic congregations, the Chapel is a vital part of community and spiritual life at Mariner Sands.

  • Welcome Everyone

The Chapel offers Protestant and Catholic worship services, a community library, art classes and many educational events and concerts. It also offers its services for weddings, renewals of vows and baptisms. A Memorial Garden is available to all residents and their families.

  • Serve Others

The Chapel is a center for personal growth and service. Members have many roles at the church and they volunteer at area charities providing educational and health services, clothing, meals and counseling.

  • Build Community

Pastor Gary Carr is chaplain to everyone in our community. Pastoral care and visitation services are provided.

No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, you will find a welcoming, traditional place for worship and growth at the Chapel.

The mariner’s compass is designed to determine direction at sea. This fundamental marine navigation tool allows sailors to orient themselves and stay on course. It is essential for safe and accurate navigation, especially in challenging conditions such as fog, storms or unfamiliar waters.

Our compass and cross logo symbolizes the concept of spiritual navigation with the cross representing our faith and core values.
